VigilIntegrations
What Vigil works with
Vigil talks to devices on your own network, with no vendor cloud in the middle. Here is exactly what it controls, what it recognises, and what it doesn’t do yet. For everything else you use, connect your other apps through the Black Label platform.
Controls on your network
Vigil sends the command over your local network and only shows a change as done when the device confirms it.
LED controllers
WLED
Found on your network automatically. On/off and brightness.
Gen 1 and Gen 2 relays, plugs and dimmers
Shelly
Added by address. On/off, brightness on dimmers, power use and temperature where the device reports them.
Plugs and relays running Tasmota firmware
Tasmota
Added by address. On/off, dimmer level, energy readings and temperature sensors.
Smart plugs
TP-Link Kasa
Added by address. On/off over the plug’s local protocol, plus energy readings on plugs that meter power.
Cameras
Add a camera by its feed address. Video stays between the camera and your computer.
Snapshot URL
Any camera that serves a still image over HTTP.
MJPEG
Live motion-JPEG streams play in the tile.
HLS
HTTP Live Streaming feeds play through the system player.
RTSP
Listed when found, but not played. Use the camera’s snapshot or MJPEG address instead; the tile tells you so.
Alerts, location and alarms
Away Alerts
Webhooks
Send alerts to one HTTPS address of your choice: ntfy, an Apple Shortcuts webhook, Make, Zapier, n8n, a Slack bridge or your own server. After Send test alert, the status line underneath turns green only when your endpoint answers with a 2xx: it proves the alert reached your endpoint, not that your phone rang. Format on Developers.
Mac notifications
macOS alerts
Security and automation events arrive as standard notifications on the Mac running Vigil.
Location
Home geofence
One home area through Location Services. Arriving and leaving can trigger automations.
Local siren
Your own lights and speakers
When an alarm fires, Vigil can switch on a favourite light, plug or speaker it already controls.
Recognised on your network
Vigil finds these with Bonjour and SSDP and labels them, so you know what is on your network. Pairing and control stay in their own apps.

Vigil sensors · early access
Node, Sentry and Pulse are Vigil’s own Wi-Fi sensing nodes. They are in early access and sold as pre-orders that ship when the hardware is ready; through-wall Wi-Fi sensing ships with that hardware. Mac Wi-Fi sensing needs Apple silicon. See plans and the health data notice.
Not supported today
No integration exists for these yet, so Vigil does not claim them. Thermostats are shown as a heating and cooling reading only; Vigil never sends a setpoint.

Black Label platform
Connect 1,600+ other apps
Gmail, Slack, Google Calendar, Notion, GitHub, HubSpot and more connect once to your Black Label account. Ace on your Mac and iPhone uses them, any AI chat can use them over MCP, and your own code can use them with the API and SDKs.
